SaaS (Software as a Service)
A cloud-based software delivery model where applications are hosted and maintained by a third-party provider and made available to users over the internet. Instead of installing and maintaining software locally, users access it via a web browser, typically on a subscription basis. SaaS eliminates the need for organizations to manage complex software and hardware infrastructure, allowing for scalability, automatic updates, and accessibility from various devices and locations. Examples include productivity suites, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and collaboration platforms.
