Blumira Cybersecurity Sleuths Investigate the Future at RSA Conference 2024

The RSA Conference 2024 in San Francisco was an exciting opportunity for our team of cybersecurity sleuths to share our mission of democratizing access to advanced detection and response capabilities for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). 

As the only SIEM+XDR solution designed specifically for SMBs, we loved connecting with the vibrant cybersecurity community and showcasing our platform and new features, including Blumira Investigate, our new search and visualization tool. Additionally, as a remote-first company, the RSA Conference held special significance for our team, providing a rare opportunity for us to come together in person, strengthen our bonds, and reinforce our shared mission. 

We engaged with partners, industry thought leaders, and members of the press, discussing the unique challenges faced by SMBs in the ever-evolving threat landscape. These conversations reinforced our commitment to empowering people and fostering connections between them and technology – a concept that lies at the core of everything we do at Blumira.

Highlights of the Conference

There was a lot of excitement surrounding our booth, where attendees were greeted by our friendly team members, eager to share their expertise and demonstrate how our platform empowers IT teams to quickly identify and respond to threats. Guests were captivated by the nostalgic charm of our vintage-inspired "The Blumira Investigator" newspaper and couldn't resist our endearing Mira the hedgehog plushies, sporting Sherlock Holmes hats – a nod to our "Investigate" theme.

Blumira CEO Jim Simpson's live stream interview on the Security Weekly podcast was another standout moment, as he shared how Blumira is leveling the playing field for SMBs by providing automated threat monitoring, detection, and response solutions. Meanwhile at the booth, we showcased our SIEM+XDR platform and the new Blumira Investigate feature, highlighting how our tools empower organizations of all sizes to take control of their cybersecurity.

Attending thought-provoking sessions, such as the "2024 Edition: Cybersecurity Standards Scorecard" and "Cybereason: How Can You Transform Your SOC with AI?", provided valuable insights into the role of emerging technologies and global threats, as well as CISO challenges and addressing the “people problem”, in shaping the future of cybersecurity. These sessions, along with our conversations with industry thought leaders, reinforced our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation and empowering SMBs with the latest cybersecurity solutions.

We were also thrilled to host a giveaway during the conference – congratulations to our winners, who received a Steam Deck OLED and the LEGO® Nintendo Entertainment System™. We hope you enjoy your prizes!
